In FY24, the Center for Teaching and Learning at MSU enhanced faculty development with the Maroon Academy for Teaching Excellence, Practical Teaching Community of Practice, and other programs emphasizing evidence-based teaching practices. The Center also promoted generative AI awareness, hosted professional development events, and launched initiatives to further support faculty engagement and instructional improvement in FY25.

As we continue to build existing programs, we have added more Communities of Practice to allow faculty and staff to more fully explore topics related to teaching and learning. We are also working to extend our reach across campus.

We faced many challenges this year in delivering events, programs and services as a result of the ongoing pandemic. However, these challenges again forced us to find new ways to engage with faculty and many of these strategies proved to be quite useful.
